The entrance mark will apply to candidates who submit an application dossier in the 3rd wave (from August 1 to August 7, 2022) or use the results of the High School Examination.

For candidates applied in wave 3, besides the criterion of passing the average score of Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Information in grades 11 and 12 from 6.5, candidates have to meet 2 criteria: participate in the High School Examination with a combination of 3 out of 5 subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and pass entrance mark of their programs selected).

In the enrollment round, USTH will recruit students for 16 bachelor’s programs including Biotechnology – Drug Development; Information and communications technology; Advanced Materials Science and Nanotechnology; Space Science and Satellite Technology; Engineering and Renewable Energy; Applied Environmental Science; Food Science and Technology; Science and Technology Medicine; Data Science; Information Security; Chemistry; Applied Mathematics; Engineering Physics and Electronics; Aeronautical Engineering; Mechatronic Engineering Technology; and Automotive Engineering; and 01 Vietnamese – French double degree program in Chemistry.

For candidates who have registered in the portal of the Ministry of Education and Training (code: KCN), the entrance mark is calculated on the combination of subjects according to the registered programs. Except in the case of Aviation Engineering, USTH will only recruit students through the direct admission method.
