Admission Call for Master programs of the Academic year 2022-2023

University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH, also known as Vietnam France University) is an advanced-model international public university established by Decision No. 2067/QĐ-TTg dated December 9th, 2009 of the Prime Minister under the Inter-governmental Agreement between Vietnam and France on November 12th, 2009.
USTH follows the European Bologna Process: Bachelor (3 years, 180 ECTS), Master (2 years, 120 ECTS), Ph.D. (3 years). USTH’s teaching methods are based on a high level of practice in research and development laboratories, and close linkage with industries through internships in Vietnam and other countries. The percentage of master’s students doing internships abroad is up to 60%. All lecturers at USTH graduate from prestigious universities, of which 70% are foreign lecturers with international teaching experience. The official teaching language at USTH is English. Annually, USTH provides various attractive scholarship policies for students.
Upon graduation, students will be granted two Master degrees which are widely recognized in the world (one by USTH and one by a French Institution).

3.  EligibilityVietnamese citizens and foreigners who meet the following criteria:

  • Holding a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields;
  • Being capable of studying in English.

Notes:
* Applicants who are in the last year of Bachelor programs must submit updated academic transcripts and a confirmation letter on expected graduating time (copies and English translated versions).
** Applicants who have completed their Bachelor program but not yet received their diplomas must submit academic transcripts or temporary graduation certificates (copies and English-translated versions).
Applicants who want to apply as exchange students must provide at least the transcripts of two recent semesters up to the present.

7. Scholarships and fellowships

USTH provides scholarships according to state policies and USTH regulations. Call for scholarship applications will be announced on the USTH website at the beginning of the academic year via the following link:

8. Fees

  • Admission fee: 500,000 VND/candidate, which is submitted with the application and non-refundable in all cases.
  • Tuition fees:

(equivalent to 2,000 USD)		 93,600,000 VND

Notes:
Tuition fees are collected by semesters for Vietnamese students and by academic years for international students.
Admission fee and tuition fees are waived for exchange students from member universities of the USTH Consortium.

9. Application dossier submission

Applicants are required to submit their application dossiers in both ways:
– Sending the scanned dossiers in PDF format or in ZIP files to admission@usth.edu.vn. The title of the submission email should be as follows: “Master admission – wave… – (e.g. Master Admission – Green Electricity -Wave 1- NGUYEN VAN A).
– Submitting the hardcopy dossiers in person or by post to the following address:
